Can you please add on option in preferences to disable Spellchecking. Now I have to do it every time I open a file.

I presume you mean a preference to control whether "Check Spelling While Typing" is turned on by default. Is that the case? If so, that seems like a useful thing to have. I'll add it to the list.

Yes, that is what I meant. Excuse my rather clumsy English. I do not have anything against Spellchecking. It is just that I have so many errors in the texts I write that almost everything gets red - so I need to turn that off.

FYI, I've added a preference for this in Pear Note 2.
