Hoping for some help with this, I'm using the current Pearnote 1.1.2 version for the two week trial period on an an intel macbook pro. I've recorded audio with a text file and attempted to use the export audio feature to save the audio files as both the .mov (quicktime) format and the .m4a (itunes) format. With both methods, I receive the following error message:

"operation could not be completed (exporting error 10)." I've tried the work-around by opening the package contents, but the only format available is the .mov. Is there a way to fix the error so I can export to .m4a? I'm trying to sync up recorded audio from class lectures to my power point presentations to post for my students. Any advice on this would be appreciated. Love the product, but the ability to export to itunes format is the "killer app" functionality I need most.

Sorry. That's definitely not the intended behavior. Would it be possible for you to send me the Pear Note file so I can take a look? If so, you can email the problem file to bugs@usefulfruit.com . If it's too big to email, let me know and I can provide some place to drop it for me.

    Thanks,
    Chad

I am having the same problem. When I get home may I send you the log file or link you to my server?

    Thank you,

bryanwii - Do you mean send me the pearnote file? If so, please do send it to me. If you've seen relevant logs (in say system.log) as well, those are much appreciated too.

Actually, I don't think I need anyone to send me files. I've managed to reproduce it on my end, and will get started on a fix asap. I'll post back here when I have something working.

FYI for anyone who's a beta testers, there's a fix for this in the newest beta (1.1.3b3). If anyone isn't a beta tester and would like to be one to get this beta build, just drop me an email.

    Thanks,
    Chad

Thanks for the assistance on this, I tried sending the file but it's too big unfortunately. I'll drop a line to request to be a beta tester.

For anyone following this closely, 1.1.3b3 did not resolve the issue for all users. 1.1.3b4 is now out and hopefully solves the problem. Please let me know if you have continued problems, or if everything works now.

    Thanks,
    Chad

As a follow up, this should be fixed in the now released 1.1.3. Let me know if anyone has continued problems.

If you are having any kind of problem with mac you can contact apple's customer service. Their customer service is amazing. I love apple. They make amazing innovative things and include them in their product. Recently they included face unlock in iPhone which is amazing. Their customer support is also great. Once I had an iTunes error called itunes error 14. I contacted them and they helped me out.

@RyanCapouch - Just so everyone knows, I would flunk out of school if I didn't have @pearnote.
