In the past week, I've noticed that when I add new slides to a Pearnote, they initially show up blank. In order to see them, I need to scroll through the entire set of slides, and then back to the slide I wanted to see. In other words, if I have 20 slides and I want to see slide 8, I must scroll through all 20, and then back to slide 8. Once I do this, I can see all slides until the next time I open the pearnote -- then I have to do it all again. This is getting annoying! Any advice? Thanks.
Slides initially appear blank when added.

Sorry about that.
Have you upgraded your Mac to OS X 10.11 El Capitan that was recently released? Right now, Pear Note is broken on El Capitan (as the blog here says) and this is one of the bugs in El Capitan that I'm trying to work around. If you're not on El Capitan, please let me know as I'm not aware of problems with previous OS releases.

Ok, thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately I have already updated and I DO rely heavily on Pear Note. Is there anything earthshattering that I should be aware of / avoid doing. Except for the blank slides, it's been fine so far. However, I have three weeks worth of grad school notes which I've taken since upgrading to El-C. Am I screwed?

There are other issues, but they should not affect your saved notes. They may prevent you from playing some of them back until you get the update, or you may never run into the problems.
