    Hey Chad,

I am investigating your software for use in medical school (starting in fall 2011). What do you think about adding collapsible bullet points? That way, when students are reviewing material they can start out with a questions and hide the answer. After answering the question, the user could open the bullet point to see if they got it write or not. If the user needs clarification, then he/she could turn the audio on to listen to the professor.

    Thanks!

    afry,

I think that is a good idea, and I will add it to my list of possible future enhancements. Unfortunately, it is not something that will happen very soon, though, as it is not possible to do with the standard Cocoa text system.

    Thanks,
    Chad

It would be great if the Edit Menu: List, Link, Spacing, & Table functions had either keyboard shortcuts or optional toolbar buttons.

    caffeineoverload:

Thanks for the feedback. Note that you can configure your own keyboard shortcuts for any menu item in any well-behaved application (such as Pear Note). Just open System Preferences, go to Keyboard, then Keyboard Shortcuts. Click on Application Shortcuts on the left, hit the plus to add a new one, select the application (Pear Note), enter the exact name of the menu item (e.g. Spacing), and pick whatever shortcut you like for it.

    I hope that helps.

    Hi there,

My request centres around the handling of pasted images. Would it be possible to manipulate the position of the image after pasting, say to have it inline with text instead of only under text?

FYI love Pearnote, its been my primary note taking solution since discovering it. Im also an iPad owner that would love to have an iPad version for on the go recording and note taking (such as when im doing ward rounds), then have the ability to edit/sync that file on Pearnote on my mac.

    Thanks!

    Browser CHOICE!

I love pearnote, but I would love it more if when I highlight a word and select Google Search it would open my preferred browser - Chrome.

Is there a way to have slides and video show up on the left instead of the right? I don't think there is, so I am putting a request for the option to do so. It is natural for people to take an idea from a slide or video and move in the left to right direction. We do this for reading. Looking at a slide on the right and then typing something on the left seems a little unnatural.

    Thanks!

@RyanCapouch - Just so everyone knows, I would flunk out of school if I didn't have @pearnote.
