I am using the demo, and I think you have a really great app. I would like to see one feature that would expand its usefulness.

If you could add the ability to export to mp4, then we would be able to incorporate the Pear Note presentation into DVD format. I see me using this for teaching presentations and it would be really useful to be able to create a DVD with the content. Is this something that would be easy enough to do.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm not sure I understand what you're asking though. Are you asking for a way to export the video recorded in Pear Note to a .mp4 file? Pear Note currently allows you to export the video as a .mov file, which most any DVD creation program should be able to work with.

Or, are you asking for the ability to create a video that contains all the elements of a note, including the recorded video, the text, and the slides, playing back as if you'd hit play on Pear Note? I've thought about a feature like this since before Pear Note 1.0. I haven't done it so far because it's a lot of effort, and I wasn't sure how many people would use it.

    Thanks,
    Chad

Yes, the second part of your response. The ability to include all the elements of the note presentation, text, video, audio, slides, everything. This would really enhance the extent to which you would be able to use Pear Note. To be able to create a DVD presentation of everything, instead of just a web page, would go far in Pear Note's value and usefulness. I currently use Camtasia for presentations, but it has limitations, which Pear Note fills, i.e., the usefulness of adding text in real time as you're recording. Anyway, it is just a suggestion which I think many people would find of great benefit.

    Thanks, Chad.
