   Hi,

   Pear Note for many years now has been one of the most important Programs that I use on my iMac. I use it to capture Patient interviews. In homeopathic practice an interview takes 2-3 hours and Pearnote helps me greatly to analyze the interview (handgestures) through the linking of text and video. I only wish that Pear Note would become more stable. From time to time I get following error message:

   Error saving: One of the recording files is missing. This likely meant that something went wrong during recording at some point.
   Would you like to continue saving what can be saved, or abort saving?

   and then something like this:

   Failed to locate file IUserslcfllLibraryl Caches/Pear NotelPearnote-8127761 recording-l.2.mov while saving.

   I am using Pear Note 3.2.1 and OS X 10.11.6 with a Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910

   Usually when this error happens, it's because part of macOS that handles the microphone has gotten into a bad state causing the recording to fail without informing Pear Note. When Pear Note tries to save, the recording is missing. Since the problem is in the operating system, restarting Pear Note usually does not help. The fix for this is usually shutting down the computer, then starting it back up. Then, your computer should be able to record properly again.

   I'm sorry to not have a better answer, but that's all I've got at this point.

   Now what happens when I try to record video with audio from Logitech C910 microphone is that Pear Note crashes after a few seconds. I bought the new Logitech C930e to see if it works better, but same thing here. When I choose Video from the Logitech Webcam and audio from my iMacs built in microphone it works fine. Recording video and audio from Logitech's webcam works fine in Quicktime. Rebooting the computer does not help.

   Is there anything you can do about this?

   Please excuse the confusion of my last post! Audio recording is not the problem. It is recording video from Logitech's webcam (C910 and C930e) that causes Pear Note to crash.
   It should say: When I choose audio from the Logitech Webcam and video from my iMacs built in camera it works fine

   I get the saving Error again. Even after a fresh restart of macOS. Does it have something to do with Mojave? Is there anything you can do about it?

   I don't know of anything else to do about it. I'm very sorry. I believe you're the only person I've heard of for which a restart does not solve the problem.

   I have this error all the time. Usually the audio file still saves like normal and I can use it. Am I the only one that find Pear Note to be pretty unstable on my Mac? (Operating on Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6)
   I currently have a file that seems actually broken however. It shows that it recorded 1hr 47min of the meeting that I took notes in, but now that I'm reviewing, it will not play back the file. When I hit play, it acts like it's going to start playing for a moment, but then stops.

   I've restarted the program and my computer a couple of times. No change unfortunately.

   Please help!
